Brian is a second generation dentist serving the Longmont area where he grew up.  As a native of Longmont, Colorado, he went on to study dentistry at Creighton University School of Dentistry.   He is a member of the ADA, Longmont Rotary, and many other organizations.  He serves on the Board of Directors for Boulder County Dental Aid.

Brian is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He is married to Judy.  They have two children.

Becca Ettleman
Dental Assistant

Becca has been in Colorado since 1981. She graduated from Berthoud High School in 1995. She went on to get her DANB Certification in 1996. She has been assisting Dr. Coats and his patients ever since.

In her free time she loves to hang out with her two dogs and her family, including her five beautiful nieces. She also likes water sports and dancing. She will go out of her way to make sure you are comfortable.

JoAnn is our Dental Hygienist with many years of experience in her field. She enjoys the interaction with our patients and keeping them updated with new information on dental care.

JoAnn moved to Longmont from upstate New York in 1980. She and her husband, Joe, have two grown sons and one granddaughter. JoAnn's favorite hobby us traveling.

Erin Schneider
Front Office Assistant

I moved to Longmont, Colorado in 1997 after spending 20 years on the western slope of Colorado. I have two grown children along with two adorable grandgirls. I attend Rocky Mountain Christian Church and my favorite past times are skiing (downhill), knitting, family and travelling.

I have worked in the dental field for the last eight years in the front office handling all insurance related issues.

I moved to the Longmont area from Denver in 1969. My husband Dale and I have one daughter, Tessa. We currently live on acreage near Longmont. I am X-ray certified, have been in dental assitant as well as surgical assistant and am familiar with all aspects of the dental field.

Our daughter is involved in 4-H and we compete together on our hourses. I enjoy working with people and am the Front Desk business assistant for Dr. Coats.
